Welcome to Innovative Painting & Cleaning (IPC). By using our painting services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging with our services.
1. Service Agreement
By hiring IPC for painting services, you enter into a contractual agreement based on the scope of work detailed in the proposal or contract. The agreement covers the type of service, pricing, and project timelines as discussed and agreed upon before commencing the work.
2. Quotes & Estimates
- Validity: All quotes and estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified.
- Project Scope: The estimate is based on the scope of work provided by the client. Any modifications to the scope may affect the cost and timeline.
- Revised Estimates: Any changes requested by the client after work has begun will require a revised estimate, which will be discussed and agreed upon before additional work is carried out.
3. Payment Terms
- Deposit: A deposit of 30-50% is required before commencing any painting project. The balance is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Payment Methods: IPC accepts payment by [Specify Methods: credit card, bank transfer, etc.]. All invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise specified.
- Late Payments: In the event of late payment, IPC reserves the right to charge interest at a rate of [Specify Rate] per month on overdue amounts. Failure to pay may also result in suspension of ongoing services.
4. Project Timeline
- Scheduling: IPC will work with clients to establish a mutually convenient start date. Timelines will be outlined in the contract and are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Delays: IPC is not responsible for delays caused by external factors such as weather, client-requested changes, or material supply issues. In the event of a delay, IPC will communicate with the client and work to minimize disruptions.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Site Access: Clients must provide IPC access to the property during agreed-upon hours. Delays in access may result in project delays or rescheduling fees.
- Site Preparation: Clients are responsible for removing valuable or fragile items from the work area before IPC arrives. While IPC may assist with moving light furniture, IPC is not liable for any damages to items that were not properly removed or protected.
- Utility Access: The client must ensure water and electricity are available for IPC’s use during the project.
6. Materials & Workmanship
- Material Selection: IPC uses high-quality, professional-grade paints and materials. If the client specifies particular products, IPC will use them as requested but cannot guarantee the outcome if non-standard products are used.
- Workmanship Warranty: IPC provides a [12-month] warranty on workmanship for painting projects. This warranty covers issues related to improper application but does not include wear and tear, damage caused by external factors, or issues arising from improper maintenance.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Client-Initiated Cancellations: If the client cancels the service after signing the agreement, a cancellation fee may apply, and deposits may not be refundable unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Rescheduling: Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule without penalty. Rescheduling within 48 hours may result in additional charges.
- IPC-Initiated Cancellations: IPC reserves the right to reschedule or cancel projects due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, any deposits will be refunded if no work has been completed.
8. Liability & Insurance
- Insurance: IPC carries comprehensive liability insurance to protect both IPC and the client during the project. A certificate of insurance can be provided upon request.
- Limited Liability: While IPC takes care to avoid damage to property, IPC is not responsible for damage to items not removed or protected by the client. IPC is also not liable for damages due to unforeseen factors such as structural issues, faulty previous work, or external events like flooding or leaks.
9. Health & Safety
IPC complies with all relevant health and safety regulations and ensures that all staff and subcontractors follow proper safety procedures. Clients are asked to ensure that work areas are safe and clear for IPC employees.
10. Color Selection & Approval
- Color Samples: IPC provides color samples for approval before the project begins. Once colors are chosen and work has commenced, changes in color will be subject to additional charges.
- Touch-Ups: Minor touch-ups requested after project completion will be done at no extra charge if they are part of the original scope. Significant changes or additional requests may incur additional charges.
11. Completion & Final Inspection
- Client Satisfaction: Upon completion, the client will have the opportunity to inspect the work. Any concerns must be communicated within [7 days] of project completion to be addressed under the warranty.
- Final Payment: Final payment is due upon completion of the project. Failure to pay may result in withholding the warranty and possible legal action to recover the amount owed.
12. Privacy Policy
IPC respects your privacy and will not share or sell any personal information provided to us. Client information is used solely for communication, billing, and service purposes. IPC may retain records of completed projects for future reference.
13. Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction].
- Disputes: Any disputes arising from these services should be addressed directly with IPC. IPC will attempt to resolve all disputes amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, both parties agree to seek mediation before pursuing legal action.
14. Changes to Terms & Conditions
IPC reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients and posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions.
